Archer (Ranged Ground and Air Troop)
- The Archer class are great sharpshooters that have great ranged attacks. They’re also one of the starter units your unlock within your Barracks. They hit their max level at level 7 (their appearance looks the same at levels 1 & 2, plus levels 3 & 4). Archers are pretty weak, which is why they’re best when it comes to keeping them at a distance while they shoot down enemy troops and buildings.
- Archers have the ability to shoot over defensive walls, so make sure you compile these troop types in small groups for maximum offensive output. Once Archers make their way into a player’s fort, they’re great for destroying lone buildings. Set them on these single building targets while your other troops are hard at work.
- It’s great to keep the Archer Queen on your field since she can summon multiple Archers at one time via her Royal Cloak ability. Your Archers are pretty weak against all defensive buildings, so don’t get too attached to them during those more intense battles.
